Be Creative At Your Piano
Sitting down at the piano and playing a tune can be a natural thing to do, especially when you know how to play from a lead sheet. A melody and a few chord symbols are easy to read. Together, we will work out how to make the chords sound wonderful.
Lead sheets work for beginners and more advanced players. This online course has lessons for both Easy chords and More Advanced chords. You'll find tips on how to finger a melody quickly and if you want an extra challenge, tips to add extra notes under the melody. Yes, improvising!
Designed with adults and teens in mind. Come and play with me!

Hi, I'm Sue Gould
The only thing I love more than playing the piano is sharing that joy with others! Teaching brings me endless inspiration, as I learn so much from each of you—not just about music, but about life itself. And to me, music truly is life!
For decades, I've been immersed in teaching, performing, and arranging both jazz and classical music. Some of my favorite moments have been coaching musical theatre at the Banff Centre, performing for world leaders at the G8 summit in Kananaskis, and conducting the Purcell Mountain Orchestra in Golden, BC for the past 10 years.
I hope you enjoy this course and discover how to express your unique musical voice!
