Every month, we embark on a new musical journey as we delve into the realms of pop, jazz, and occasionally classical music. With each lead sheet you play, you'll become more familiar with piano chords, the art of improvisation, and all the elements that make music truly come alive.
Who is it for?
Our LIVE and ONLINE classes are structured to cater to teens and adults of all levels. Similar to a yoga class, each piece or exercise is presented at varying difficulty levels, making it accessible to beginners and challenging for more advanced players.
How to Join:
When you sign up, you'll receive a Zoom link, along with all the worksheets and music scores relevant to the upcoming Jam session. We come together as a community on Zoom, where we encourage open discussions, answer questions, and, most importantly, make beautiful music on our pianos.
In the weeks between Live Jam sessions you can explore the score-of-the-month and you have full access to all of the other courses at Play Piano Chords Today ONLINE .
Our ultimate goal is to inspire you to play the piano more passionately, to spark your curiosity, and to create an environment where you feel comfortable asking and answering questions. Whether you already have a piano teacher or are just starting your musical journey, we welcome students of all levels.

When I join, which course should I do first?
Every month we add a new course. It can be learned at a beginner, intermediate and more advanced level (think Yoga class). You will be sent the Zoom link and the a PDF of the music for this months class.
The next course to check out is the JAM VIDEOS. This is where you find videos of past LIVE Jams to review and play with.

PLAY WITH ME series
Choose an individual song to learn to play. Choose your Fav! Each course is good for multiple level but some are easier than others. Sort them by Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Piano.
WARM UP's
Choose a Warm Up or Technique course that appeals to you. They all have gems to add to your musical toolbox. Major Chord Groove is a great place to start.
EXTRA's

We recommend working on 2- 3 courses at at time. Variety keeps it interesting and more than 3 can be overwhelming. Change it up every month to a new warmup and a new song 🎵

Hi, I'm Linda Gould
Linda Gould is an accomplished and award-winning pianist with a musical journey spanning over four decades. From a young age, her passion for the piano earned her the playful nickname "Linderace" among friends, reflecting her love for both boogie woogie and classical genres.
Her teaching focus is on a diverse range of adult and teen students, emphasizing an eclectic approach to piano education. Linda is known for her enthusiasm in imparting knowledge and skills related to piano chords, creativity, and improvisation. Her mission is to make the world of piano accessible to individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to classical experts.
Linda enjoys collaborative performances with her husband, Dave Paulson, and her dragonfly sister, Sue Gould. Together, they travel the world, showcasing their musical talents on two pianos. The joy of jamming with her grandchildren on the piano adds a personal touch to Linda's musical experiences.
Beyond her performances and teaching, Linda Gould is also a prolific writer, sharing insights into her life's journey with music. Her writing delves into the creative process, the challenges and rewards of a lifelong commitment to music, and the joys of connecting with audiences worldwide. With a passion for opening up the world of piano to others, Linda remains dedicated to fostering a love for music, exploration, and self-expression in all her students, regardless of their level of expertise.
Hi, I’m Sue Gould
Sue Gould is passionate about piano! and music of all types. Classically trained with regular doses of jazz and pop music, Sue has made herself versatile in all genres and is especially happy when collaborating with other musicians and composers.
Sue, an award winning pianist, has been performing and teaching music for over 40 years. She holds a Bachelor of Music with Distinction in Piano Performance from the University of Victoria and received full scholarship to study at the Banff Centre for the Performing Arts. Ms. Gould has travelled extensively throughout BC and Alberta performing in communities large and small and spent time as a faculty member at the Banff Centre for the Arts. She can be found performing with a variety of ensembles including the Music Mosaic piano trio, the Selkirk Trio, Storm Mountain Trio, the Lily Quartet, Fearing Gould, The Dragonfly Sisters and just about any other group who calls her up! She is also the Music Director and conductor of the Purcell Mountain Orchestra.
